Hummus and Garlic Naan

First, if you don’t have a Vitamix, you should buy one. There are so many things that you can do with these that it is mind-boggling. Yes, they are pricey, but this is totally a high-value item for your kitchen

HUMMUS
I’ve made Hummus a number of ways including homemade Tahini, Dried garbonzos, …but this is the fastest and easiest and doesn’t take too long.

  1. Can of Garbanzo Beans – 15 oz
  2. 1/4 cup of Tahini
  3. 1 teaspoon of ground pepper
  4. Dash of Kosher salt
  5. 6 cloves of garlic – minced. (Maybe more depending on how much you like Garlic)
  6. Olive Oil (pour to taste and as it continues to be absorbed in the mix)

Everybody in the pool…when using a blender or vitamix, get it to a thick and smooth consistency.

GARLIC NAAN

I started with Trader Joe’s Naan.

I minced (finely chopped) another 6-clove of garlic and then added this to about 1/4 cup of olive oil.

I drizzled this on the Naan and put in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.

Serve together as an appetizer
