Amuse Bouche – Fennel with Caviar

From Wikipedia – An amuse-bouche or amuse-gueule is a single, bite-sized hors d’Å“uvre. Amuse-bouches are different from appetizers in that they are not ordered from a menu by patrons but are served for free and according to the chef’s selection alone. In my case…I am showing off to my wife.

This is Fennel sauteed in olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Then diced, and served with a ball of cream cheese, caviar, and ice cold vodka.
