Cubano in Pastry Crust

I love Cubano sandwiches….I love puff pastry, this was just a natural combination.

I took a sheet of puff pastry and smeared it with English Mustard (goes with ham really well)

Over the mustard, I added about 10-slices of thin sliced ham.

Over the ham, I added shredded pork from a Pork Shoulder that I slow-cooked the other day,

Sliced Dill Pickles

3 kinds of cheese, Gruyere, Provolone and Mozzarella

Fold the puff pastry over and pinch the edges so nothing leaks.

Heat the oven to 350 degrees

Beat one egg and coat the top of the puff pastry. Cook until golden brown.
