Ahi Sashimi

Not a lot of cooking here…I am really working on my knife skills

What I did…unwrapped the Ahi that I picked up from Whole Foods, found the sweet spot in the Ahi Steak and cut 1/4″ (or so) slices.
What I should have done…put it in the freezer…get it extremely cold, almost to the point of freezing and then I could have been able to slice it thinner. What my goal is, is to be able to slice the Ahi in 1/16 or smaller widths. I either need to better prepare or get a much, much sharper knife.

The beverage is draft Sake. The condiments are Wasabi, Chinese Hot Mustard, Pickled Ginger and Soy Sauce.
